Intramurals encourage students to experience a variety of physical activities and games, that will contribute to an active and healthy lifestyle. These activities may bring out the hidden talent of the student. All students, including the elementary department and junior high school were combined during the event. 

The groups were later then known as The Red Falcons, Blue Phoenix, Golden Lions and Green Dragons. Each member had to choose the sport that they were going to join volleyball, basketball and dancing. These were the top activities that everyone had to join, they will be a substitution for each player– it's the player’s decision to make. Before the Intramurals started, we had our preliminary rounds that lasted for weeks. Each day, every team had to compete using their effort, strength and attainability in each round. The winning team had to compete against the other team, this was also used in the teams that lost in that specific sport. This made everyone competitive, and they used their time, energy, and effort in cheering the desired team in the hopes of winning. During the preliminary week; I was on team red and a player for volleyball, basketball and luksong lubid. Based on my experience, it was quite a challenge for me since it was my first time participating in a lot of activities at once.It was a challenge for me since I am not used to being watched by a lot of people; everything was new to me. Despite all of that, I did some skills that I didn't expect my own self to do–I scored two points for my team in the game of basketball, my teammates and I almost won in the volleyball game. I didn't expect myself to be able to do two underhand serves. This also taught me to not despise myself and that I can really do more.The boys in our team and the other teams also had a volleyball and basketball game; well i must say that their game was more intense. That feeling of goosebumps and nervousness, everyone watching was curious on which team will win.

On the day of the Intramurals, it was a day that none of us will forget. Before the program started, we had a parade together with the elementary students. The muse and escort of each team had their banner raising contest, followed by the elimination round of the basketball,volleyball,and badminton etc. games. Followed by the next day were the games of the track and field, which were played by each representative in the team. Followed by the mobile legend rounds and lastly the finals of each sport. Exhibition games for parents happened within the day, the parents played basketball and volleyball with the teams colored vs white. I am thankful that Intramurals happened because I made a ton of new close friends; the people I once thought that I'll never talk to are now one of my friends. Because of Intramurals, I cherished a lot of memories and people that I will remember in the future. This event made me open my eyes by showing everyone’s true colors; by proving to me that sometimes you can't expect someone to be good to you. 

Our team may not be the champion but I'm still thankful for their efforts, time to practice. In the end their hard work was then rewarded with trophies and medals to show their appreciation. I am also giving my congratulations to our team, the red flacons for everything, especially the members who guided us during the games–and to our Sir Jay for handling our team throughout the whole event. Because of teamwork, nothing is impossible.
